So, I finally got around to creating a Snape Mii for my Wii.

Here's what he looks like:


I've had much fun forcing him to race Mario and crew in Mario Kart, and I shall be subjecting him to Guitar Hero World Tour and GH5, shortly. And then he will be forced to go bowling (Wii Sports), participate in a hula-hoop competition (Wii Fit), and race on a cow (Wii Play)...in no particular order. Mwah ha ha ha!

...I expect to be hexed, later.

The good people over at Snapedom (http://asylums.insanejournal.com/snapedom/) have gotten me into Snupin (Snape/Lupin) and now Snupily (Snape/Lupin/Lily or Severus/Remus/Lily - however you want to put it). Severus/Lily is still my OTP (and the pairing I'm currently writing fics for...none ready to publish yet), but I must confess to liking me some Snupin and Snupily goodness.

So here's an icon I made (using Potterpuffs character bases), 'cause I'm low on blood sugar (read: loopy) and high on fandom (whee!). OT3 for the win!

During my travels on the great wide interwebs, today, I ran across wicked_visions's very funny Hogwarts House quotes icons. I have also been re-watching The Wire. And I'm a Hufflepuff. So, using wicked_visions's Hufflepuff base, I made me an icon with a quote from Detective Freamon (who would surely be a Hufflepuff).

That also got me thinking of a quote I always thought would be perfect for Snape, courtesy of Frank Barone (of Everybody Loves Raymond). So I made me a new Snape icon too.

I also did a piece a fan art, just because I was feeling artistic one day. This is my first attempt at a cartoon Severus Snape. I'm so out of practice, it took me a whole day to do this thing, lol. ^^;

So, I saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince lately...and then I read ahead in The Deathly Hallows (because HBP is very Empire Strikes Back and ends with a bit of a cliffhanger)...and now I'm into HP fandom. *sigh* I'd been not reading the books before the movies, so that I could enjoy the movies without worrying how they differed/what was left out, but that plan is now all shot to hell.

Who is my favorite character, you ask? Guess. (Yes, it's Snape). *spoiler alert for those who haven't read all the books yet* highlight--> I just can't resist a morally ambiguous complicated character with a redemptive story arc (make it redemption due to undying love, and it's like catnip).

I'm also getting into writing drabbles (which I'd never done before, even in Buffy fandom). I've decided that any fic longer than a one-shot, I'm not going to publish until I get a considerable amount done...hopefully that will keep any WIPs from having too long a wait before updates. The plan is to weeny out what I've already written over a long period of time while I write new stuff. We'll see how that goes.

Why, oh, why are my cats obsessed with peeing in front of the toilet in the master bathroom?! I've even taken out the carpet, and still they pee! I'd open the lid to see if they want to use the toilet, but then my boy cat would play in it. Yes, he would play in the toilet. >_< The carpet (which is a scrap piece used as an area rug) stinks to high heaven, now. It smells like the cat house in the zoo. I've tried cleaning it many times, and finally took it outside for a Cloroxing and hosing down, and still it's rank.

The litterboxes are kept there (in the master bath), btw, so at least they pee in the right room. It doesn't seem to matter how clean the box is either. I gave it a deep clean. It could not be fresher. They've just gotta pee in front of the toilet!

I'm going to have to get me one of those uv lamps so that I can find and eliminate all urine traces in that bathroom. I'll have to go CSI on that mofo.

This all started when I tried to bring a new kitten into the house. -_- Your point is made cats! No new kitten! Now stop with the angry pee mails!
